    1. I really appreciate the read and the remarks. They mean a lot and I will try my best to continue writing that way and giving you intelligent, valuable and funny content.

  1. Hi, Harry. Just a little more info on saving at Dierbergs. Dierbergs has several areas in the store where you can buy clearance items to save more money. Also, they have items that are discounted, or even free, if you maintain a certain amount of rewards. MY goal is to always keep $3 in my account. Also, at the bottom of your Dierbergs app, it gives you ways to earn even more awards/money. And don’t forget your free “$5 off of a bakery item” for your birthday! (Disclaimer: I work at Dierbergs. )
Yes, Aldis and Walmart are where I shop if I just want to run in and not check for sales. )

    1. Thanks for the info, Cheryl, I know the cooler and I’m there all the time. It’s awesome. I’m going to do a video on it real soon. Oh, and I’ll tell Harry you said, HI…..DC

  2. I can’t get everything at Aldi, so I begin there and go to Schnucks. There are a few fruits and vegetables we avoid at many Aldi stores as they go bad in a day or two. Yesterday, there were 4 items is all that I got at Schnucks. Not bad! That is for a week of groceries for 4 adults.

    1. That’s awesome!!! I think that’s the way it is with a lot of shoppers. Go to Aldi’s first, get what you need at the best prices and then go some where else to get those other needed/wanted specifics. Thanks for the comment!!

  3. I do shop at Aldi too but there are a few items that just don’t seem quite as good, at least for me. So I go to WM for those items. The one time a month I buy steak, I go to Maninno’s. Beef has gotten crazy. We eat a LOT of hamburger.

    1. Yeah, I’m with you on that. Got to have certain brands. Does Maninno’s have good pricing on meat? I’d figure the little guy like that would be more expensive than the bigger guys. How about Sams? They have some good pricing on meat.
